Outaouais native Jacques Coutu works primarily in the fields of real estate law and banking law.
Mr. Coutu completed his studies in Outaouais and was called to the Quebec Bar in 1976.
He began his professional practice in Gatineau, working mainly in the fields of real estate law and construction law until the late 1980s, at which point he specialized mainly in banking law.
Over the years, Mr. Coutu has represented many major financial institutions in banking litigation and security liquidation cases at the local and provincial levels, making him a leader in these specialized fields.
In November 2011 Mr. Coutu joined the Duclos Blais Lawyers team as counsel, where he continues to serve his clients and lend his banking and real estate law expertise to our team.
